The basement can only be seen in one episode, Angela's New Best Friend.

If the Bower house were real, half the height of the basement would overlap that of the main floor. The staircase is only about six feet tall. Add to that the height of the door and the ceiling is approximately thirteen feet above the ground.

How is the basement accessible? Considering that in most episodes, the room behind the staircase on the main floor is labeled either as a broom closet or guest bathroom, one wouldn't think it would be there. However, the paint color and picture on the upstage wall, through the door (top-left), suggest otherwise.
